You're lucky to get a kettle in most Bed & Breakfasts, but you might have gathered we're not most B&Bs.

Six of our seven rooms have separate kitchens - rather like having your own mini apartment.

Except we do the cleaning.

What’s not to like about having your own kitchen?

When you’re on holiday, you may want to forget about cooking, cleaning and other such domestic chores – and to simply revel in the delights of the local eateries – check out our Insider’s Guide for the best places to eat, drink and be merry.

However, sometimes you just fancy a slice of toast or something simple. Or you may have little ones who need feeding every few hours or a bottle of wine to chill.

Whatever the reason, isn’t it nice to be able to prepare a bit of food if you want to?

What can you expect in our kitchens?

Each of our six self catering suites has:

a fridge
an electric hob and a microwave
a kettle and a toaster

There isn’t an oven or a grill – you won’t be preparing a Sunday roast, but you could happily whip up a tasty pasta dish, make some sarnies or simply prepare breakfast.

Bits and bobs

In addition to these cooking facilities, you can expect to find pans, cooking utensils, plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery. Feel free to ask about specifics before you come, so you know what to pack.

For coffee lovers, there is a cafetiere in each suite (bring your own ground coffee) and tea-takers get a teapot – how very English!

We also provide some essential supplies – washing up liquid, sponge, dishcloth and tea towel, plus some coffee and a selection of teas. There’s even some olive oil, salt and pepper for those who do want to get cooking.
